How it works

the card, the ratings, the Market

Change github.com to git.findutils.com on any profile URL and you land on a FIFA-style dev card rated out of 99 — plus nine assessments, seven themes, and a hiring Market. Everything derives from public GitHub signal. No login, nothing stored.

The rating

OVR & the six stats

Every profile is scored /99 on six meters — pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defence, physical — blended from shipping pace, stars, PRs, language range, maintenance and account age. 99 is deliberately unreachable; even legends top out mid-nineties.

Tiers

Bronze → Silver → Gold → Holo, earned by the overall rating. Tier is never bought — it comes off the public record.

Verified ratings

Sign in once (read-only) to fold your private-contribution count into the rating. We keep the count and the boosted stats, nothing else — the token is used for one read and discarded.

The nine assessments

One scout, nine reads

A single scout of the public profile unlocks the whole set: the roast, archetype, commit clock, language DNA, twin & nemesis, alignment, scout report, asset valuation and a commit-message haiku. Every panel exports a PNG sized for social.

Themes

Seven universes

The same data, seven fictions: football broadcast, RPG hero sheet, classified dossier, illuminated knight, arcade cabinet, mission control and a TCG holofoil. Switch with the Theme menu or ?theme= — see the API.

Embed & share

README & iframe

Grab the Markdown or iframe snippet from any card. The Markdown renders the live SVG in your GitHub README; the iframe drops the card into a personal site. Both stay live as your rating updates.

The Market

Accounts as assets

Flip Open-to-Work to become a Free Agent on the Transfer Market. Companies browse by tier and reach you through a privacy-preserving relay — no emails exposed on either side, opt-in only, delist any time.

Built for developers. For the machine-readable endpoints, see the API reference.
